Tardigrade ADU

The Tardigrade ADU is a 592 square-foot Accessory Dwelling Unit in the Hollywood Hills facing Universal Studios that was designed to maximize livable area on a steep, oddly-configured site.  Drawing from the geometries that shaped the Tattuplex, this project added square rooms to provide more commodious spaces where needed (living area, bedroom) and employed the more dynamic triangles for support elements of the architectural program.
