Mercado@Meridian (M@M) is a mixed-use development in the Garvanza neighborhood of Highland Park.
Historically a commercial property, it was down-zoned as residential in 1989 with the assumption that surrounding residents wanted less retail near homes; now that sentiment has shifted to a desire for walkable neighborhoods, M@M offers a mixed use alternative to both the existing strip mall and a solely residential development, with single family homes facing the park, live/work lofts facing Avenue 64, and a bodega on the corner.
